This free Maths Week seminar is designed to help guide parents (regardless of their own level in maths) in supporting their child to reach their full potential. The seminar is rooted in decades of international research on how young people can thrive in school, as well as practical tools which parents can use to help support their child in maths.
Achieving Mathematical Potential

Alison Kiddle is based in the NRICH Centre of Cambridge University. In this workshop, Alison will share some problems that are suitable for mathematically minded parents and maths-phobes alike! There will be lots of ideas on how to engage your child mathematically and how to help them to achieve their mathematical potential.
For teachers: "In this workshop, Alison will share some favourite problems from the NRICH website that can help enhance students' learning and enjoyment of mathematics. Geared towards parents of post-primary children.
