As part of their ongoing development of the Primary Curriculum, the NCCA are looking at Ethics, Religion, and Beliefs Education (ERBE) in the classroom.  Part of this process is consultation with teachers, parents and other parties. 
They have produced information to answer questions that may arise and to highlight some areas for consideration during this consultation process. The NCCA recognises the constraints of time allocation for the introduction of a curriculum in Education about Religions and Beliefs (ERB) and Ethics and requests teachers to respond to proposals for development of the curriculum as outlined at www.ncca.ie/consultation/erbe.
