This course is designed to support previous participants on the Introduction to Scratch course. It aims to refresh the participant’s previous experience of using Scratch and to encourage them to use Scratch in new ways. Participants will explore how to apply some of the Scratch add-ons such as BYOB and will also engage in discussion about how Scratch might be used across the curriculum and how it might accommodate different types of learner. Print and Contemporary Art Practice is an off-site course based in Temple Bar Gallery and Studios. Located in an art studio surrounded by artists at work and vibrant galleries this course intends to immerse participants in the rich visual culture of the Temple Bar area. The focus for this course is how print is used in contemporary art practice. The course will include workshops, talks and a visit to Black Church Print Studio. The course is open to all primary school teachers.
