Gaeilge interwoven with Drama is a new and unique method of teaching Oral Irish in the ordinary class. It’s emphasis is fully in line with the aims of Irish in the Primary Curriculum - ‘úsáid na Gaeilge mar ghnáththeanga bheo chumarsáide’. It focuses on children learning to speak Irish through the use of classroom drama. The children gain in confidence both in their ability to speak 'as Gaeilge' and in their use of drama as aesthetic art form.
