Gaeilge interwoven with Drama is a new and unique method of teaching Oral Irish in the ordinary class. It’s emphasis is fully in line with the aims of Irish in the Primary Curriculum - ‘úsáid na Gaeilge mar ghnáththeanga bheo chumarsáide’. It focuses on children learning to speak Irish through the use of classroom drama. The children gain in confidence both in their ability to speak 'as Gaeilge' and in their use of drama as aesthetic art form.

Each session will include a mixture of presentation, discussion and sharing of personal experiences. Topics covered will include recognising and managing stress, anxiety and depression; developing good communication skills; managing change, conflict, and work load, and finding work life balance through examining personal values.

Scratch is a simple programming language that makes it easy to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art -- and then share your creations on the web. Over the course of three evenings we will spend considerable time exploring variables, lists, loops, and conditionals so that students can apply these concepts into projects and demonstrate their proficiencies by constructing algorithms that create generative games and projects.
