The CRAFTed Programme focuses on integrated learning methodologies through the Visual Arts Curriculum, using a process-led methodology that focuses on the child's own creativity. Also Deirdre will be showing some of the glass projects that she has done with schools, discussing the process and activities involved. From theme to design, Deirdre will explain the children’s involvement, integration into other subjects and the outcome. Through short exercises, sharing of ideas and discussion we will conclude the workshop by experimenting with glass paints on a ceramic tile or plate. This short presentation will provide a brief introduction to some of the Android Tablets available and to some of the Education ‘Apps’ that run on these. We will also look at the practicalities and rationale for using these Tablets in the classroom.
