This free Maths Week seminar is designed to help guide parents (regardless of their own level in maths) in supporting their child to reach their full potential. The seminar is rooted in decades of international research on how young people can thrive in school, as well as practical tools which parents can use to help support their child in maths. The importance of praise and mindset in how young people succeed in maths will first be outlined. The theory will then be followed by practical ways parents can help their children, including details of free online maths resources.
