Reading Ulysses with Seamus Cannon

Have you ever wished you had read Ulysses - that you got past chapter 3? Do you feel you are missing all the fun on Bloomsday? You have probably tried it a few times and given up in frustration.  While it has a reputation for being difficult, Ulysses rewards persistence and is worth the effort for the lifelong enjoyment it affords.
This is an opportunity to read Ulysses with others and under the guidance of a lifelong enthusiast.
All lectures will include readings and vivid illustrations of locations and characters. The course will consist of 6 interactive lectures starting Wednesday 23^rd January, and continuing on  Wednesdays Feb 6^th; March 13^th; April 10^th; May 8^th and June 12^th, from 7.30 pm- 9.30 p.m. 
You will be introduced to three chapters each evening before you read them and you’ll have time to keep up. If you fall behind, don’t worry – there’s no exam! In addition to the lectures we will also conduct a number of evening walks along the routes travelled by the principal characters.  This will help bring alive the extraordinary way in which Joyce captured something constant in human nature and in Dublin, something which is at the heart of the appeal of Ulysses.
