The Ocean and Climate – Connecting the Dots
The Ocean roles a major role in influencing our weather and climate. Through a series of simple science and STEM activities we will explore the properties of water, the links between land and sea, and the influence of human activities on the Ocean. During this webinar we will examine:
Looking at the properties of water and exploring the links between the Ocean and the atmosphere
The water cycle and our water supply, and the influence of climate change on weather patterns
The links between our carbon footprints, ocean chemistry and living things
Using creative and digital ways to empower our students to take positive actions
