The Anti-Bias Anti-Racism (ABAR) introductory seminar takes a look at anti-racism from the perspective of centering the very human needs for belonging and inclusion with a focus on empathy building by sharing stories and engaging in reflective interactions.
The facilitator creates a safe space for participants to engage in uncomfortable conversations, reflect on their own bias, and ultimately broaden their understanding of how bias and racism inform our interpersonal
connections and societal systems and the impact this has on our education spaces and curricular choices.
