In this webinar we will explore the ‘Book Tasting’ method. Book Tastings are a valuable method to support the development of a school culture of reading, a love of literature and reading motivation.
The content will unpack the many benefits associated with Book Tastings and provide achievable, practical guidance and strategies to facilitate frequent book tasting opportunities in the primary school context.
Suitable to teachers of all ages and stages at primary level. All attendees will receive a resource pack to support the delivery and organisation of book tastings in the primary classroom.

Tutor Bio
Clara Maria Fiorentini is a lecturer in Initial Teacher Education at Marino Institute of Education, specialising in Literacy and Early Childhood Education. Prior to this, Clara taught for eleven years in an urban, DEIS primary school in Co. Dublin, Ireland.
Clara provides CPD for primary teachers and early childhood professionals in the areas of literacy, children's literature, play based learning and school transitions. Clara is completing her PhD research in early literacy development and transitions to formal literacy learning.
