Proactive Caring for yourself.
During these very challenging and strange times, many encounters with others conclude with the phrase ‘take care’. However, this welcome and kind wish is not often accompanied by advice on how to take care of yourself. This presentation will outline the role of individuals in the self -caring process and outline some practical strategies that may help in that process.
The content includes the following elements:
· Accurate self-assessment of what you can and cannot do.
· Identifying and using your psychological resources (PsyCap)
· Communicating your needs assertively
· Managing your emotions
· Focusing on self-reflection, change and improvements
