Teaching Transition Year Ethical Education

Aaron Kenny teaches Transition Year Ethical Education in Kishoge CC. In this workshop he will share his approach to teaching TY Ethical Education highlighting resources, methodologies, assignments and project work to keep TY students active and engaged, including a special project on the ethics associated with responses to the Covid 19 pandemic.


Ethical Education Teacher Walk & Talk

Venue: Tibradden Woods (meet in Zipit carpark)

An invitation to teachers of Ethical Education to meet to walk and talk, meet other teachers and share ideas and resources.
Meet EEN Chairperson, Ciara (look for the bright yellow top!) in the Zipit carpark at 10am. The walk around Tibradden Wood will start and end there.
Wear appropriate clothing- good walking shoes and rain gear recommended.
This event will go ahead subject to government guidelines. It will be outdoors and numbers are limited to 15 people. 
Due to the limited numbers for this event, we ask that only those who will definitely attend register for the event. If you register and are no longer available, please cancel your ticket. 


Fighting Fake News: Media Literacy in the Ethical Education Classroom 

Date: Thurs 5th Nov @ 7pm 
Venue: Online
Following last year's successful CPD session, journalist Shane Raymond is running this workshop again for EEN members on identifying fake news and recognising bias in the media.
Teachers will gain skills and resources to help students develop their media literacy.
